Megan "Sid" Breiter-Lagan (they/them), known online as "forksthousands", is a multidisciplinary artist with a love of character-focused illustration, visual design and painterly portraiture. They utilize vibrant colors and a strong knowledge of anatomy and expression to create works within a wide range of styles. Many of Sid's influences come from video games and animation, and they enjoy translating these different sources of inspiration into their own creative works. Sid is also an avid appreciator of tabletop role-playing games and draws inspiration from these systems and their campaigns as well, bringing collaborative story-telling into the visual sphere.
Sid graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a Bachelor of Arts, emphasis in Painting. They have over fifteen years of professional experience in freelance and commission-based work. Throughout their career, they have worked with retail-business owners, authors and comedians to create illustrations, characters, and graphic design in a variety of genres and mediums.
When they aren't drawing, Sid enjoys playing video games, crafting, seeing shows (musicals, plays, ballet, concerts, you name it) with their wife, playing in one of the many TTRPGs they're involved in, and bugging their three cats (Crash, Morris and MJ).
